Shipping and Delivery

States We Do Not Ship To

Due to unconstitutional, burdensome, or restrictive firearm laws that conflict with CVA’s product lines and values, we do not ship firearms, magazines, or restricted accessories to the following states or jurisdictions:

  • Delaware
  • Washington D.C.
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • Maine
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Pennsylvania
  • Puerto Rico
  • Rhode Island
  • Vermont
  • Washington

We support your right to bear arms. Unfortunately, these jurisdictions impose restrictions on AR-15 platforms, 30-round magazines, or other key components that are incompatible with CVA's mission and products.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all local and state laws are followed for items shipped to permissible states. If an order is mistakenly placed to a prohibited state, we will cancel the order and refund the payment (minus transaction processing fees).

Firearms Shipping & FFL Transfers

  • Firearms and serialized items (e.g., lower receivers) are shipped only to verified Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders.
  • During checkout, you’ll need to provide your preferred receiving FFL dealer. CVA will validate the FFL before shipping.
  • Firearms cannot be shipped to PO Boxes or private residences.
  • Split shipping applies: serialized items go to the FFL, while accessories can ship to your home (if legal).
  • Orders will be held until the FFL has confirmed they are ready to receive the transfer.
  • Restocking Fee: If an FFL refuses the transfer or is invalid, a $75 restocking fee will apply.

Accessory Orders

  • Non-serialized accessories (e.g., optics, range gear, magazines for allowed states) may ship directly to your home.
  • CVA reserves the right to dropship items from our distribution partners (including Lipsey’s and others).
  • Flat-rate or real-time carrier-calculated shipping will apply at checkout.
  • Orders over $500 may require a signature upon delivery.

Order Processing & Shipping Times

  • Accessory items: Typically ship within 2–5 business days.
  • Serialized items / firearms: Typically ship within 7–10 business days after FFL validation.
  • During peak times or special releases, shipping may be delayed. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Shipping Methods

  • CVA uses insured carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS, depending on the nature of the item and applicable regulations.
  • Long guns typically ship via Ground Service; handguns ship via 2-Day Air where required.
  • Tracking will be provided when your order ships.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • Please inspect all deliveries immediately.
  • Claims for damage, loss, or incorrect shipment must be made within 5 business days.
  • If a package arrives damaged, retain all packaging and take photos to assist in processing the claim.
  • CVA will file any applicable insurance claims on your behalf.

Returns & Cancellations

  • Firearms and serialized parts are non-returnable unless defective or mis-shipped.
  • Canceling an order before shipment may be done with no fee, but transaction fees are non-refundable.
  • Items refused at the receiving FFL or returned due to customer error will incur a $75 restocking fee.
  • Returns of non-serialized items are accepted within 15 days of delivery if in original condition and packaging.

Export Compliance

CVA does not ship outside the United States. By ordering, you affirm compliance with ITAR, Export Administration Regulations, and any other applicable U.S. export laws.

Legal Responsibility

By placing an order with CVA, you:

  • Confirm that you are legally allowed to purchase and possess the item in your jurisdiction.
  • Assume responsibility for understanding and following all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Understand that CVA is not liable for legal penalties, seizure, or denial due to inaccurate information provided or prohibited shipping zones.
